Monday is Earth Day!  Take some time in your homes to talk to your families about what it means to be a steward of God's creation and the importance of taking care of the things that God has given us.  Try to make a slight change in your life to go more 'green'.  Turning off lights when you leave a room is a simple fix, or buying a stainless steel reusuable water bottle instead of bottled water (more sustainable, cheaper, and bottled water is usually just filtered tap water anyway).

The fourth graders and their kindergarten buddies participated in the Land Run on Monday!

Religion - In preparation for Lent we will be discussing the things we can add or remove from our lives to try to grow closer to Jesus.  I encourage all of you to keep track of things you and your family are 'giving up' or 'adding in' during the Lented season and strive to hold yourselves and your children accountable.
