December 10th - 14th

Math:  There will be a math test on Chapter 3 this Friday, we will be reviewing in class and students will have a practice test and a review packet that they will be bringing home.  No homework besides studying and the packets.

Social Studies:  We are finishing up with Unit 3 this week and then will have a test on the entire Unit next week.  Students should use their notes to study and a study guide will be given to them early next week.  The only homework for this week is Lesson 3 Review Questions #1-5 and the Unit 3 Review questions #1-18, both due Friday.

Vocabulary:  Vocabulary test will be administered this Friday, students should be bringing their vocabulary books home every night to study the definitions and to use their words in sentences.

Don't forget that Decemeber 8 is the Immacualte Conception of the Virgin Mary and is a Holy Day of Obligation.

Math:  We are continuing to look at modeling expressions and solving algebraic equations.  Students can expect homework nearly every night and we will be having a test next week on Unit 3, after reviewing for a couple days.

Spelling:  We are starting Unit 8 spelling words this week, students should be bringing their books home every night to study.

Social Studies:  The school geography bee is coming up so we will be having our class geography bee Monday and then continuing with Unit 3 in our books for the rest of the week.

Religion:  We will be talkikng about what Advent means and how it is meant to prepare us for the upcoming Christmas season.
