October 15th - 17th

This Wednesday is Jog-a-thon, remember that pledge sheets must be turned in Oct. 15 (Monday).

A shortened week this week, students will not have school Thursday or Friday.

Math
We are still working on solving algebraic problems, students can expect homework at least on Monday and probably on Wednesday also.

Language Arts/Writing
In class we will be working on the second draft of our book reports on Because of Winn-Dixie, this will be due Wednesday.

Vocabulary
Continuing with Unit 5 we will be studying the definitions and usage of the vocabulary words.  Test will not be until next week however.

Social Studies
In class we have been talking about the 1800s in Oklahoma and the U.S., we will continue this with a greater emphasis on the Natve American policies by the U.S. government.  Students should expect homework Monday and Tuesday/Wednesday.

Religion
How can we be leaders by being servants to others?  What responsibilities do we have when we are leaders?  No homework expected.
