Thank you parents for volunteering to chaperone during the Woolaroc field trip! For information about this coming week please check out the weekly push page; http://www.allsaintsba.com/PushPageNov12.pdf
Math: We will be finishing up 3.2-3.4 this week in math, looking at number patterns, expressions, and functions. Students can expect homework every night for this week.
Spelling: We are starting on Unit 7 in spelling, the spelling test will be next week on Tuesday so students will have a little longer to study than usual. The spelling words for this week are:
1. accurate
2. alert
3. ancestor
4. disaster
5. elementary
6. envy
7. epidemic
8. feeble
9. penetrate
10. romp
11. staple
12. survive
Social Studies: We will be spending a lot of time reviewing in class as there will be a social studies test this Friday on Unit Two, students should understand the main idea of each Chapter/Lesson and should be familiar with the key terms.
Religion: I plan to start familiarizing students with the parts of the Mass and the responses during the next couple of weeks, I have noticed that responses during Mass are not always clear from our students and many times they seem not to know how to respond. Parents/Guardians, I encourage you to keep an eye on this in the coming weeks during Mass with your children.
Language Arts/Writing: We are taking longer than I would have liked on the Because of Winn-Dixie book report but I really think that we can finish it this week and then start on learning the art of note taking.
